Rani Calderon - conductor
Musical Director at the Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, the young Israeli conductor has gained international acclaim both in operatic and symphonic repertoire performing in the dual capacity of conductor and pianist. Rani Calderon collaborates, among others, with the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse, the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv, the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, the Opéra du Rhin in Strasbourg, the Vlaamse Opera in Antwerp, and the Monte Carlo Opera Theatre. He conducted Meyerbeer's Semiramide at the Festival della Valle d'Itria in Martina Franca, Italy edited in cd by Dynamic.
As Principal Conductor at Teatro Municipal in Santiago de Chile, he recently conducted Tannhäuser, Elektra and L'Italiana in Algeri, Aida and he will conduct Lucrezia Borgia in the coming months. Other future engagements include Semiramide in Copenhagen, Rigoletto in Dresden, Trovatore in Bucharest and concerts in Sofia, Bari, Bonn.

Young Italian baritone recently performed Schaunard in La Bohème and Gregorio in Roméo et Juliette (recorded by Decca) at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, he sang Don Bartolo at the Teatro Guardassoni in Bologna and in Salsomaggiore and he performed in Cléopatre at the Withsun Festival in Salzburg and Tosca and La Bohème in Preggio (Italy).
Future plans include: Gianni Schicchi at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino in Florence; Don Giovanni in Maribor.

Maurizio Lo Piccolo recently performed Le nozze di Figaro (Figaro) at the Palm Beach Opera; La Damnation de Faust at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Vaccaj’s La Gazza Ladra (Giorgio) at the Rossini Festival in Wildbad; Alidoro in La Cenerentola in Vichy, Avignon, Reims; Salieri’s Il mondo alla rovescia word première in Modern Time in Verona; San Guglielmo duca d’Aquitania (Cuosemo) in Krakow and Poissy with Les Talens Lyrique and Christophe Rousset; Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater with the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana; La Traviata in Aix-en-Provence, Djion and Caen; and Gianni Schicchi, Le Rossignol and Le nozze di Figaro in Cagliari. Future plans: Rigoletto at the Festival Art Lyrique Aix-en-Provence; La Cenerentola in Massy.
